The GRADE principle CertaintyGrade enforces

"A paper doesn't have a GRADE rating.
An answer to a specific clinical question does."

The same RCT earns different certainty levels for different questions — because directness, imprecision relative to the decision threshold, and applicability all shift with the question. GRADE is question-anchored by design. CertaintyGrade enforces that discipline.

How GRADE assessment works

1

Define your PICO question

Population · Intervention · Comparison · Outcome. GRADE certainty has no meaning without a clearly specified question and outcome.

2

Add your studies

Paste an abstract, enter a PubMed ID, or paste full text. Multiple studies produce a body-of-evidence rating.

3

Review before running

You confirm the question and study list before the assessment runs. The certainty rating applies to exactly what you specified.

4

Get a transparent, editable GRADE rating

High / Moderate / Low / Very Low certainty, with domain-by-domain rationale citing specific data points. Every judgment is reviewable.

For Educators & Residency Programs

Run structured journal clubs — not just discussions

CertaintyGrade Journal Club assigns participants to supporting or refuting positions, guides them through an evidence-based worksheet with PubMed integration, and generates an AI-assisted Moderator Packet summarizing agreement, disagreement, and teaching points.
